On a Rainy Day

When the rains came I had to figure something to do with the kids. And this happened...

Notice that I am in all the pictures.  Photog rights go to the two little ones.  

And as a side note, Little Man was more into it than his little sister.

Star of the Week

In Little Man's kinder class they have a Star of the Week program. The star kiddo has a poster about themselves hanging up, they get to bring in one SHARE every day for the entire week, and they bring in a snack for the entire class on the Wednesday of their week. Little Man has been asking since Oct when it would be his turn and the torture finally ended last week.  Little Man is responsible for everything on his poster, minus the picture I took but he taped it on.  His teacher (LOVE HER) laminated the poster so it will be an excellent keepsake.  Perhaps something we can hang at his college graduation?

Dr little J

Little man had been asking for a basket class and the only one we could find had a waiting list (see previous post). Out of nowhere Groupon posts a deal for basketball lessons so we jumped on it. The first class was Feb 2. Feb 1 and the morning of Feb 2 he announces that he is not going. *sigh*. A little cajoling later we arrive at class. He did great! No begging him to do it and thankfully no parent participation to make it happen.

Tiny Dancer

She loves, adores, cherishes dance class. Teacher Katie has powers to get her to do stuff. We are going to use Teacher Katie's name for good.
