Head West Young Man

So we did. We packed up the wagon and took Liam to Cannon Beach. Not sunny but overcast, not the huge crowds as usual, we found a parking spot on the first pass through....the day was a success. This was Liam's first step in the ocean and he was loving it!!

First Trip to the Zoo

Sean's company picnic was held at the Zoo and we had all day passes! With a one year old that means we got a couple hours out of the boy.

My Favorite Things

as a 14 month old....

• using the plunger as a walking stick
• text messaging mom's friends, random and incoherent text messages
• turning the water on in the tub
• scheduling mom appointments, again random and incoherent appointments on her PALM calendar
• (admittedly these crack me up and make me smile when I pull up my calendar at work)
• slides!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• my favorite book is Pee-A-Who
• Fisher Price Dance CD

My brother Kevin is going to be in town on business Mon-Wed!!! He'll come over for dinner to see us, the baby, the dog, the house, everything since he has not been here before.

Backyard Liam

If the weather is right Liam gets to run around the backyard au de natural. With the right cropping of the pictures, we are able to share with you.

All About the Water

We made our way to the beach for the first time this summer. It's a local one that we used to take Emmett all the time so we try to make it a morning trip and then head out as everyone else heads in. Liam loved walking and digging in the sand. He also found his first sea shell that Mom will keep with the other keep sakes. Next contribution will probably be a tuft of hair from his first hair cut so stay tuned.

Country Baby

All this time we worried about Liam not eating solids. Turns out we weren't offering the right stuff....

Nana will be so proud, he gets the corn eating gene from her.

Holiday Weekend

We had a FABULOUS fourth of July weekend, thank you to Portland and her great weather. We managed to hit the big Farmer's Market in the park blocks of Portland State University (PSU)

and fit in a couple of stops at the park right up the street from us
