Brotherly/Sisterly Love

A huge sectional couch, I tell them to go look at books, turn around and this is what I see.  They sit right next to each other.  Can you hear my heart melting....because it is.

 We have these 2 giant apple trees in the backyard, great right?  Yeah, not so much.  They were not maintained by the previous owner so the growth is horrible and the apples either fall too soon or too late.   We made the executive decision that tax return was going to fund cuttin those suckers down.  Sean missed it since he had to travel but I was shocked at how mesmerizing it was to watch these guys systematically take out these two trees.  That evening while the kids and I were at the table eating dinner a rainbow came out.  I took this as a positive sign!!!

And the Fun Continues

We used to go to Play Boutique in Lake Oswego and then Groupon informs via an awesome deal that they have one in Beaverton.  Big, indoors, coffee, bounce house, it has got it all.  Needless to say the kids loved it.
