The Great Pumpkin Patch, Charlie Brown

It was a day of no rain, so we thought this is the day to take one little pumpkin to the land of many pumpkins. Unfortunately, he felt a little awkward being the only blue pumpkin.

Mom and Dad remedied the situation with a quick trip to the gift shop.
With a new look, he quickly made many new friends and became one of the gourds.
Needeless to say our little boy blue had a wonderful time and can't wait to dress up this year for Halloween.

My Mornings

I wanted to share what greets me weekday mornings. The 'normal' routine is: alarm, I get up to shower, then wake up Sean, he goes down to wake up Baby, make coffee, diaper change, and bottle. I am upstairs getting ready for work. Most of the time Sean and Liam finish their routine before I finish mine. This is how Sean transports Liam around in the morning now that it is getting chilly out. Everytime I see them like this I smile.

Tired: : drained of strength and energy : fatigued often to the point of exhaustion

Holy screaming baby last night! It was Sean's night but nobody was sleeping in our house. Baby Liam has a cold, snotty nose and all. He sure was in a good mood this morning though. He was all smiles while Sean and I dragged our tired butts out of bed and down to the coffee maker.

I get to see my baby in an hour!! (insert HUGE smiley face here)

The Tooth, the Whole Tooth, and Nothing but the Tooth

Yes people, mark October 9, 2007 on your calendars as the day Liam cut his first tooth! Thank goodness because he has been cranky for at least a week and now we know why! Patti (daycare) surprised me when I went to visit at lunch time. She had me stick my finger in his mouth and there it was! Smiles and happy happy joy joy ensued.

Now, not to be outdone by the tooth but Baby Liam is a master raspberry blower! And so all could enjoy, we caught it on video. We tried to get a close up or head on shot but Baby Liam always pulls a Cindy Brady and freezes when he sees the camera. Sean played nonchalant and hung back and the trickery paid off.




We also promised video of his roll over and after some minor pleading from me (as you will hear on the video) Baby Liam pulled it off for us and now we share it with you.

Liam's Baptism

What a weekend, what a weekend! My parents flew in Wed night so Mom watched Baby Liam TH and FRI. My brother Steve (Liam's Godfather) flew in TH night. Sean's parents and Aunt flew in FRI night. We had a wonderful time, lots of good food, good wine, and great conversation with the people we love the most! Saturday we dressed up and packed up the babe for his Baptism. I do admit I was anxious that Baby Liam would cry when Father anointed him, or for sure when Father pours the water three times on his forehead. But nope, not our little champ. He was SO mellow! I think the pictures are all the proof we need. He slept the first half of mass and let Father do what he had to do without a peep. He took a bottle mid way through mass and we were back for the final blessing. This child is amazing. He even started to put himself back on schedule on Sunday. I can't wait to see the pictures the Grandparents took (hint hint).

Liam has been rolling over like a mad man. So much so that he is now waking himself up in the middle of the night. For all you Moms out there you remember how much fun that is NOT? The scary thing is I don't seem to be as tired during the day as other times pre Baby Liam. Sean has been great about sharing the middle of the night wake up calls. I didn't even have to ask, he just started getting up every other night. Man did I marry well or what?!

Sean starts back on Saturday classes this week :(
University of Michigan has decided to start winning football games :)
