A Week at Bandon, Oregon

Amazing, Incredible, Relaxing, Fun...what more can I say? We had a fabulous time with Sean's parents at a beach house and this house was ON THE BEACH. The weather was a little iffy to start and then wound up to be PERFECT!

Things we did at Bandon:
Explored the beach
Ate a lot
Went to a Safari Park
Visited Florence, Oregon
Flew a kite
Built Sand Castles
Chased waves
Fed seagulls
(some of us, including Annie) Took naps
Visited the Lighthouse at Cape Blanco

Black Butte Ranch

We had an great time! Liam was a champ on the drive over and back. Our friend's daughter Megan (3 year old) kept Liam moving. They chased each other around and around and around. We went for our first bike ride and I don't think Liam cared much for the helmet so it wasn't a long ride. One day we drove over to the Wizard Falls Trout Hatchery and saw tons and tons of fish at different stages of growth. The kids had so much fun feeding the fish because the fish go crazy when you throw the food in.

Quiet Moment Please

It pains me to say that we sold the Jeep today. Loved the Jeep, great memories with the Jeep, but there was no need for the Taylors to be a 3 car family. Don't worry, the Jeep now belongs to Grace, cute girl, Jr in HS, daddy came over and bought it for her. I think the Jeep is going to a good home.

Today we also headed over to Fremont Street for fun. They blocked off the street and had a parade. Anyone could be in it, kids on bikes, men dancing in leiderhosen, a Boston Terrier dog owners club, cops on motorcycles, a fire truck, everything. We can't wait for next year to join the fun with Liam!

Next Friday we take off for Black Butte. Our friends have a place there and were generous enough to invite us for a long weekend. We can't wait!!
