Incredible Hulk as a Baby

This video does not encompass his true passion for showing off his muscles but will do for now...it cracks us up so we hope it does the same for you....

Thank you God!

I knew you were listening. This was Liam on Saturday....

Our weather in Portland was fabulous both days. Sunny and nice, in the 50's in the days and then the rain at night. We took a long walk both days to take full advantage. Not only did it get us outside but Emmett needed it to. Mojo the kitty was probably excited we took Liam with us. He is completely enthralled with her. He loves to chase her and try to pet her. Sean was busy all weekend putting up a new garage door opener, pretty handy guy for growing up in a condo!

Are You There God? It's Me, Annie

Dear God,

Thank you so much for Liam, Sean and I love and adore him with all of our hearts. His smile is infectious and his giggles contagious. Liam teaches us something new every day, we are better people because of him! One thing though God, could you possibly give us one day without a Baby Liam meltdown?

Thank you,
Love Annie

The Incredible Edible Egg

So we tried a scrambled egg for the first time the other night....ummm didn't work out that well. Really don't think he was fan of the egg. What do you think?

On the bright side, the bug is a big, big fan of the Trader Joe's O's cereal, he can't get enough. Tomorrow we try the whole grain waffle. Yum Yum.

9 Mo and Counting

Had the 9 month check up last week. Liam is 3 ft tall (90%) and 17 lb 12 oz (10%). Still long and lean. He still has his cough, not as bad but still there. Sean will be in California for the day tomorrow so let's hope for an UNeventful night. Fingers and toes are crossed.

A PlayFull Day

Today was quite the busy for Baby Liam. So many things to do, so little time.

There are buttons to be pushed.

There is mail to be opened. I got my first Valentine today. Thank you Grams and Gramps!

My music table needed some attention.

And finally, I had to bang on the front door. Oh the fun I had!!!

Croupier

Pronunciation:\ˈkrü-pē-ər, -pē-ˌā\
Function:noun
Etymology:French
Date:1709
: an employee of a gambling casino who collects and pays bets and assists at the gaming tables
OR
: baby with the Croup, Baby Liam
The cough is heart wrenching! The steam in the bathroom seems to do the trick before bedtime but inevitably he is coughing through out the night. It is torture knowing there is nothing we can do. His nose is all snot so breathing is not easy, so that means taking a bottle is not easy. He wants the bottle but can't breath and drink at the same time so he gives up. We, and Patti, are keeping a close eye on the little bug and giving him extra attention. Oh, and he had another tooth break through! This kid doesn't do anything half way, he is full throttle.

He's Back!

The sweet, happy, smiley baby Liam is back! The teary, screaming, sad baby has moved out. I am thinking the antibiotics have kicked in, whew. That was incredibly painful to watch, knowing nothing you can do to make him feel better. We held him and rocked him and bounced him and steamed him in the bathroom, which I think each thing added a little comfort but didn't take the pain away. Last night I was prepared for another long night with the sad baby but surprise of all surprises....he slept through the night! Sean wasn't surprised since he slept for maybe 3 hours the night before when he was on baby patrol. Liam's coughing woke me up so I sprang up and ran down to his nursery and there he was, sitting up, hanging on to his blankie and smiling ear to ear! I knew he was back!!! We have his 9 month check up today so the timing is good having the Doc we love look at him again. It seems cruel and unusual punishment to give babies a cold! My heart can't take it.

Sick as a Dog

Our boy is a sick sick puppy. The snotty nose, the cough, and the pediatrician confirmed today, an infection in BOTH ears. When I picked him up from Patti's today he was curled into her with his red eys and just a super sad face, I think I could have cried. We got him some new meds, the humidifier is on high and I can't take tomorrow off!! If needed, Sean can and will stay home with him. Liam is so not happy and I only wish I could just keep him curled up in my arms the whole time.

On a lighter note, the boy, when not sick, is a busy busy boy. Up, down, up, down. Constantly pulling himself up...on his music table, the dining room chair, his crib, on me, on Sean, the coffee table. Then the butt sticks out, the arm goes out and he lowers himself down. Once down - back up again! You can see him when you put him down, the wheels start turning and he is looking for the next thing to pull himself up on. The kid is endless energy! Let's just say that he is keeping Sean and I young.
